Das schöne Modell der WLB Taurus hat leider noch eine NEM652
Schnittstelle. Das bewirkt eine zwingende Kopplung der Lichter rot und
weiß.
Mit Der Piko PluX Platine ist eine einfach unkomplizierte
Modernisierung von Modellen möglich.

Piko offers several model variants like "Hobby" or
"Expert" versions. Most current models are shipped with a NEM652 socket.
The NEM 652 couples the red and whit light.
The
Piko PluX board simplifies the upgrade of a
model.

WLB Taurus 1216 |
| Das Modell der WLB 1216 hat eine NEM652 Schnittstelle mit
LED als Lichtquelle. Es
wird damit das weiße/rote Spitzenlicht versorgt. |

The current
WLB 1216 model has just a NEM652 socket which drives LED as white/red

Die Tauschplatine für den PluX Stecker findet links von der
Originalplatine einen schönen Platz. Die Montage erfolgte durch
Einkleben. Die Anschlüsse sind leicht gemacht, Piko verwendet NEM
Kabelfarben, die Platine ist beschriftet.
Die Montage der Kabel und die Verlängerungen erfolgt mit Patafix. Das
ist eine Art Knetmasse zum Montieren von Bildern und Plakaten. Eignet
sich hervorragend um Kabel in Zaum zu halten.

The replacement board was placed sidewise from the
original PCB. Piko uses NEM wire colors, the board is labeled so it is
easy to reconnect the wires.
The cables are secured with UHU Patafix Tis is
originally intended to softly glue pictures to walls.

| Die Platine hat das typische
runde Loch, hier läuft der Spritzling des Gehäuses zum Verschrauben
durch. Bei der 1216'er ist das Loch "ungenutzt". |

has the typical hole which allows the mounting pillar of the case to run
through to the bottom of the loco. for the 1216 the hols has no use... |
Tauschplatine / Replacement board

| Der Lautsprecher ist rechts
ebenfalls festgeklebt worden - fertig ist der Umbau. Dei Arbeit hat etwa
20 Minuten Zeit gebraucht. Auf den Bildern ist ein MX645 zu sehen
Soundprojekt ist passend zur 1216 verfügbar, also eines OHNE Tonleiter. |

The speaker
is also secured with some glue, that's all. Overall mountinmg time was
about 20 minutes. I used a MX645 ZIMO decoder. There is a suitable sound
project available, it has no sound scale. |
