Das Vorbild dieses kleinen Modells benutzte das Gewicht des zu Bewegendes
Wagens indem der etwas hochgehoben wurde um sein Reibungsgewicht zu erhöhen.
Diese Möglichkeit hat das Modell natürlich nicht dennoch kann man damit ganz
gut rangieren.
Die Stromaufnahme ist trotz der nur 2 Achsen sehr gut, das Gewicht
überraschend hoch. Bei meinem Modell mußten die Motorlager etwas geölt
werden es quietschte fürchterlich. Im Getriebekasten herrschte eher
Überschwemmung, das überschüssige Fett hab' ich mit einem saugenden Tuch
entfernt.

The prototype uses the weight of the pulled car by
lifting it off the track to increase its own weight. Of course this is not
possible at the model. It is still nice to shift cars around.
Power pickup is quite good. Just two axles are enough.
My model made strange noise, the motor required some oil. The gearbox had
too much of it running around. So that got removed with a rag.

Rund um den kleinen Schienentraktor sind einige Digitalisierungs- und
Umbaufragen entstanden. Dabei ist die Sache an sich extrem einfach und
gerade aus.

There are
several rumors around the new tracker how to install a decoder. The
procedure is extremely simple. |
| Die Konstruktion mußte mit
extrem kleinen Platzverhältnissen das Auslangen finden. Man hat aber einige
sonderbare Entscheidungen getroffen. Der Decodereinbau erfolgt durch simples
umsteckern. Die vorhandene Blindplatine wird entfernt. |

The model
fights with the extremely tight space conditions. Some strange decisions
where made. Decoder installation is simple just replace the exiting analog
board. |
| Zunächst muß man unter den
Eintrittstufen 2 schrauben lösen. Das erlaubt das Entfernen von a
Trittstufen die das Gehäuse am Modell halten. Alles kein Problem, beim
Zusammenbau ist mir dann aber si ein Halteplättchen und eine Schraube
ausgebüchst. Die Sucherei der kleinen Teile ist halt mühsam. |

To install
the decoder you need to remove 2 screws underneath the entry steps. Next
remove the two steps below the entrance. This releases the case which can be
pulled up. This is no big effort and straight forward, the problem are the
small parts which easily get lost. |

Einfacher wäre es könnte man die Adapterplatine durch das Dach einbauen.
Platz wäre genug da.
Eien PluX 12 Schnittstelle statt der Adapterkonstruktion wäre wohl
deutlich zukunftsweisender Gewesen als dieser Weg. Der Steckertyp wäre
gleich.

Much easier would be access through a removable roof,
there is enough space to do this.
A PluX 12 interface would be much better than this
irritating adapter solution. The connector is the same.
